Air travel In Hargeisa, an international airport is available to bring visitors to several parts of the world, as well as the other countries, cities and towns in Somaliland and the Horn of Africa. One Arab airlines operates weekly services from London, Paris and Jeddah to the city Djibouti, from where a connection to Hargeisa is also available.

Land travel Other than air travel, Somaliland can also be reached by land. If you can deal with a gruelling two-day travel, you can take a truck from Djibouti to Hargeisa. The border between to cities, in which the crossing is at Loyaada, is open 24/7. It is also possible to reach Somaliland from Ethiopia. A regular bus operates in the border town of Wajaale, and the trip will just cost you about one hour and half minutes of your time.
